BOT3B Students create awareness around Invasive Alien Species
Invasive Alien Species (IAS) create havoc in many ecosystems if they remain unmanaged, something many scientists and environmentalists cannot manage alone. A large part of management strategies is to educate the public and create an awareness around IAS as the dangers they pose. Our Botany undergrad students, in their respective groups, were tasked with creating awareness posters that could be deployed and into local communities and educate them on what are they, what damage they can do, and how do we manage them. Below are the submissions from each group for the 2020 BOT3B course.
