Department of Botany and Plant Biotechnology student symposium
Students from the African Centre for DNA Barcoding (ACDB) participated in the Department of Botany and Plant Biotechnology Symposium, held on 21 October 2026 at STH. The students presented their postgraduate research, showcasing their scientific contributions and highlighting the value of research in advancing botanical knowledge and the study of plant biodiversity.
Congratulations to Mr Kabo Sebatse, who was awarded First Prize for Best Presenter in the PhD category in recognition of his outstanding presentation. This achievement reflects his dedication to research and academic excellence. We commend all participating students for sharing their research and representing the African Centre for DNA Barcoding with the highest standards.
